Tile feeding system:

We offer several tile feeding solutions to match your production needs:

Tray Pallet

The tray pallet allows you to mount 8 or more trays on the robot. Each tray holds 100 to 200 tiles, depending on tile size. Trays can be easily refilled by hand β€” making this the most economical solution for beginners learning to use the robot.

The robot comes with one tray pallet. You don’t need to purchase additional pallets unless you plan to work with new tile sizes.

  • Custom tray pallet: $200 – $400
  • Reusable plastic tray: $0.20 – $0.50 (depending on size and shape)
  • Recommended: 10 or more trays per color for storage and workflow efficiency

Tape Feeder

For higher-volume production, tape feeders offer greater efficiency. Their compact design allows you to mount 24 or more feeders on the robot, enabling mosaics with more colors.

  • Tape feeder:Β $200 – $500 (depending on tile size)
  • Reusable carrier tape: $4 – $6 per 10-meter roll (holds 400–600 tiles)

Vibration Disc

Designed for feeding large quantities of regular-shaped tiles β€” especially square, rectangular, and round tiles from 5Γ—5mm to 20Γ—20mm.

Vibration discs require more space, with a minimum size of 300Γ—300mm. Typically, 4 to 12 discs can be arranged on a standard robot. For projects needing more colors, a larger robot may be required.

  • Vibration disc: $400 – $800 (depending on tile size and shape)
  • Note: Tile samples must be provided when ordering a vibration disc.

Transfer Belt (In Development)

The transfer belt is currently under development. Similar to a tray pallet but with a much larger capacity, it will be able to carry significantly more tiles.

Support Components

Camera System
A camera module can be added to all feeding systems. It offers two key advantages:

  • Multi-color mixing: You can mix two or more colors in a single tray.
  • Error detection: The camera can identify if incorrect tiles are loaded into feeders.

Light Source
A light source is required when using the camera system to ensure consistent image quality.

Carrier Tape Refiller
(Description to be added)

Mosaic Pallet
Pallets keep tiles in position during assembly and protect completed mosaics during transportation.
The robot comes with two CNC-machined Aluminum pallets.

  • Aluminum pallet (330Γ—330mm): $200 each
  • Plastic pallet (330Γ—330mm): $0.25 – $0.35 each
For other sizes, please contact us for pricing.

The robot, feeding system, and support components come together to form a complete Robotic Mosaic Assembly System.

An entry-level mosaic robot system starts at around $11,000. This includes a 4-head picker with a tray pallet feeder. The full package comes with 500 trays β€” enough to handle mosaics using up to 48 colors.

For a more advanced workshop solution, prices start at $20,000 and above β€” depending on your specific needs.
