Mosaic Robot is not a ready-to-sell product. You need to order a customized system according to your needs.
You will need a Pick&Mount Robot as the base of the robot system, and add feeders to carry your tiles.

Pick Mount Robot: We have two plans:

  1. Small workshop solution. Price start at $10,000
    The core Pick&Mount Robot has 4 to 6 picker heads.
    Workspace dimension 500x1080mm. It can be used to process 3 trays at 330x330mm, or 2 trays at 500x500mm.
    Speed: 2000 ops per hour.
    Vaccum Station included.
    Mount point to support 24x Tape Feeders.
  2. Advance workshop solution. Price start at $16,000
    The core Pick&Mount Robot has 6 to 8 picker heads. it is larger and faster. And it support tile rotation.
    Workspace dimentsion 600×1440. It can be used to process 4 trays at 330x330mm, or 2 trays at 600x600mm.
    Speed: 3600 ops per hour.
    Vaccum Station. It is used to drive vaccum sucker.
    Air Compressor. It is used to drive niddle sucker.
    HD Camera Module, Provide computer vision functions. It is used to take tile sample photos and to recognize tile color.
    Light source
    Mount point to support 48x Tape Feeders.

Tile feeding system:

  1. Tray pallet.
    Tray pallet allows you to mount 8 or more trays on the robot, each tray carries 100 to 200 tiles. the capacity depends on tile size. The tray can be refilled by hands easily.
    Tray is most economic solution when start your business and learn to use the robot.
    Robot comes with one tray pallet. you don’t need to purchse additional tray pallet unless you want use new tile sizes.
    Price of a customize tray pallet is $200 to $400.
    Price of a reuseable plastic tray is $0.2 to $0.5, depends on size and shape.
    You may need 10 or more tray in storage for each color of tiles.
  2. Tape feeder.
    If you need to process many tiles, tape feeders will be more efficient. and the size are compact, you can mount 24 or more tape feeders to the robot. it allows you to make mosaics with more colors.
    Price of a Tape feeder is $200 to $400 depends on tile size.
    Price of a reuseable carrier tape is $4 to $6. it is 10 meters lengh and carries 400 to 600 tiles
  3. Vibration Disc.
    The vibration disc is designed to feeding mass quantity regular shape tiles, especially square, rect and round tiles. from 5x5mm to 20x20mm.
    It takes a large space, the min size is 300x300mm. In most case we can arrange 4 to 12 discs to a standard robot. if you need more colors, a larger robot are required.
    Price of a vibration disc is $400 to $800 depends on tile size and shape.
    You must send tile samples to us if you want to order a vibration disc.
  4. Transfer Belt.
    This feeding is under development. Transfer belt is similar to a tray pallet but has much larger size, so it can carries more tiles.

Support Componets

  1. Camera system.
    Camera module can be added to all feeding plans.
    There are two advantage of using a camera.
    A: You can mix using two or more colors in one single tray.
    B: Camera can identify if a wrong tiles are filled to feeders.
  2. Light source.
    It is necessary to install a light source when using a camera system.
  3. Carrier tape refiller.
  4. Mosaic pallet.
    Pallets are used to keep tiles in right position. and it is used to protect mosaics during transportation.
    Robot comes with two metal pallet. it is made by cnc machine.
    The alumnim pallet (330x330mm) is $200. Contact us to inqury other size.
    Plastic pallet (330x330mm) is $0.25 to $0.35.
